I'm freaking exhausted!

Looking back at the last week of January, I had no idea what I did, and yet the entire week just disappeared and the work that I have left to do piles up ever higher D:

Went for Brown Bagging on the 30th (that's the next significant thing I did that I could remember!). We went about visiting the residents in groups of 4 to 5, with at least one Year 4 and a pharmacist in each group. Haha in my case Jia Wei was the year 4 and our pharmacist was none other than Lita Chew =p

The experience was certainly interesting. It was quite similar to sitting in at the ambulatory clinics in AH. Some of the elderly were exuberant even as they poked fun at themselves being "useless", while others were reserved and didn't even wish to let us into their house. I got an opportunity to try to counsel one of the elderly, but it felt somewhat awkward because it was my first time seeing the form and its questions and therefore it felt more like an interview than an actual conversation. Thankfully I could recognise the medications and knew a little about their typical dosages, so I could fill up the medications form pretty quickly :D

Had a friendly with RH Soccer on Sunday morning. We played Louis' team from outside. They weren't fantastic, but I guess it was because they lacked match fitness. We won the game 3-1, with my first non-training goal for RH Soccer putting us ahead early on. It was quite an instinctive goal, in the sense that once I spotted the ball bobbling free after a mixup in their box, I didn't really think but simply instinctively stretched out for the ball, which was moving away from me, and sort of half-volleyed it. A fine goal from Jerome and a firm header by Gabriel later secured the result for us.

Had lunch at Mac at Engineering after that with Weiquan since we were lazy to travel. It was really peaceful in school on a Sunday, not unlike being in camp on a Sunday or Public Holiday haha.

Colour and Vision test on Thursday, 4 Feb was a killer! I think it was the first time in a test since my JC days when I have had to make blind guesses because I couldn't even make a smart guess. The logic behind the question was so beyond me! I'm not sure whether it was because I'm simply quite fail at this module, or because I simply had no time to study for the test, but I think I'm gonna die quite badly for this module :x

I'll make a post about IHG sometime soon. Going to jog with Banana now! Need some exercise to get my stale mind moving D:
