Cycling with the pharmers on Friday! We were supposed to meet at 1pm initially, but it got changed to 1.30pm, and I arrived late at 1.45pm haha but many were late too so we eventually only got going at 3pm =p

Si Jia and Shermaine got me a board game thingy for my birthday haha. I took a picture of the box but my camera quality sucks, so here's a better picture of it found from trawling Google Image Search lol. Thanks Shermieee and Sj (:

Make your own soccer game!

We only cycled for about 3 hours, and we did not even make it to the long and straight 6km stretch of the park connector network that leads to Changi haha. Still, we all suffered from varying degrees of sore butts already! I tried something new this time by trying to master how to cycle with no hands on the handlebars. Haha in the meantime Shermaine was trying to make a 'peace' sign for more than a split second. We both succeeded somewhat, with Shermaine lasting close to 2 seconds eventually while I could cycle and even steer past turns with no hands. As long as I was going fast enough that is. So we both learned something new while cycling haha. Go us (:

Haha we look so colourful!

Dinner was at Parkway Parade Crystal Jade. They had a xlb offer (I think it was 4 for $4) but it was sold out! Dinner was quite a rip-off to be honest haha but it's okay we don't blame YB for suggesting the venue. At the very least his decision saved us a lot of loitering around while we were all being indecisive =p

We wandered around aimlessly after dinner, visiting Challenger and Giant and taking pictures with the Christmas tree haha. It dawned on me then that I haven't been to Parkway in eons! While the general look and feel of the place was the same there were significant changes within. Corridors where you wouldn't have walked down in the past unless you had to visit the washroom were now filled with nice shops, for instance.

Saturday was supposed to be our long awaited return to soccer action for SSS, but the rain made the pitch "unplayable" (quoting Singapore Sports Council here) and therefore our match was cancelled. Weiquan and I were therefore left with nothing to do until dinnertime so we went on a shopping spree haha. I pounced on the 30 to 70% discounts at Royal Sporting House and got a new pair of soccer boots to replace my now sole-less soccer boots, a pair of shin+ankle guards in case people want to maim me during IHG, as well as an Adidas bag. We were joined by Daniel after lunch, and the three of us went to Suntec City Convention Centre to sniff out sales and bargains. Daniel and Weiquan bought a pair of shoes each, and unfortunately they didn't have my size left haha if not I would have extended my shopping spree.

Next the three of us went to play Left 4 Dead 2. It was harder than the original game, plus we sort of suck in the first place so we had trouble clearing the scenario haha. It was frustrating and yet hilarious how we failed to complete the scenario because we keep dying before we topped up the petrol for the escape vehicle haha. We were like "C'mon c'mon 2 more cans 2 more cans!" one moment and the next we were groaning in frustration =p

Met up with the rest of the 30 SCE peeps, namely Jie Sheng, William, Wee Hung and Joon Hong (omg you quit smoking! good job soldier) for dinner at Waraku. Food was good! Haha yeah that was quite duh. Ching Hwa and Kiat Tat came later. It's great to see everyone again (:

The gang, minus Ching Hwa haha. Too bad Tng, you were late! XD

After dinner, first I was surprised by the arrival of the birthday cake! Then I was surprised that there were three big and four small candles on the cake because the last time I recalled I was turning 21 not 34 =p

34-years old!

Apparently William got some spare candles just in case and there was some mis-communication between the waitress and William which resulted in her using ALL the candles haha. No matter, a big thanks to everyone nonetheless :D

Epic win!

They also got me a Liverpool jersey! Haha yay (:

It actually doesn't look too weird wearing the jersey over my collared shirt! :D

After dinner we bought some drinks from 7-Eleven. Despite the low alcohol content everyone got pretty high anyway, due to the collective idiocy of every person present =p

Anyway I have more to blog but it's time to get my "buses" from Roller Coaster Kingdom, so be back again soon to update ;o
It's actually 6.01pm on the 24th but since i meant to update several days back I shall date this entry on an earlier date instead XD
