Feels funny adding links to the archives of my blog when all I have nowadays are single or at best two updates per month D:

Exams coming in slightly more than what, two weeks? The practical tests for Pharm Prac and PPDA are now both over, and after tomorrow Anat CA2 will be done too. Come Thursday my fourth and final Geog project will be completed (or at least submitted, no matter how incomplete or complete it is) leaving the exams as the final hurdle. Then it's one semester down (:

Had a weekend of intense sporting action last week, starting with IPPT at Bedok Camp on Saturday the 11th. Weiquan was ridiculously late haha. I stay in Tampines and he stays at Bukit Gombak, and yet when I was leaving my place he was still at Bukit Gombak. Awesome =p Anyway, surprisingly I did pretty well for Standing Broad Jump, getting 4 points for that station. Pity my 2.4km was never gonna be below 9.45, not without any training since ORD. In any case, I'm satisfied with the Silver I've got. Maybe I should train to get Gold the next time round XD

After IPPT, had lunch with Weiquan at Bedok Food Centre opposite the camp, before going to my place to nua for a bit, before going down for Saturday Soccer Stars' 15th ever game, which happens to be my 13th game as well, having missed two. The match was incredible. We had only 10 men right from the start, but everyone played really well in a novel 4-2-3 formation that saw three forwards, an ultra-defensive backline, and two tireless midfielders patrolling the middle. In fact, we played so well that it felt like we were the team with 11 men, not the other way round! By half time we were already 2-0 up, with yours truly scoring the first goal to make it 11 in 13, and Darren scoring a superb header from a great cross from Daniel. However, with most of our squad having taken part in the Nike run while Weiquan and I were still fresh (or rather, not so fresh) out of our IPPT test, we succumbed to fatigue later on in the match. First Weiquan had cramps, and was taken out of the game. 9 vs. 11. Then our goalkeeper, Jia Hong, landed awkwardly and had to be taken out of the game as well, with Darren putting on his gloves to take over his position in goal. 8 vs. 11. Some desperate defending and subtle time-wasting techniques saw us defend our lead well despite their relentless attacks and seriously superior numbers. At some points in time we even played with 7 against 11, when Naren got a hit to the face and when Josiah had some cramps of his own. It was inevitable that we would concede, with the opposition hitting in efforts from just outside the area where we were defending in numbers. Nonetheless, we did well to hold on to our advantage, eventually drawing the game 2-2.

Sunday was RH's second friendly of the season, and the first with another hall. We played Temasek Hall, with the match curiously broken down into three thirds instead of two halves. Wu Yao made good use of the two breaks to swap everyone around to test out all of our players, which numbered about 20 or so. In the end, there were just too many of us and I had to contend with playing only one third in the match. I really need to get used to the style of playing in the team and open my scoring account soon D:

The past week was pretty much uneventful. I can't remember much beyond going to school and going to more school heh. Did Geog project at MD 7 on Thursday, then went for my second ever "Library Club", staying back to closing hours to mug at the library. Speaking of that, I should go back for one last speed-read through my notes on the Digestive System for tomorrow's CA =p

Later.
