Anat CA2 was alright, thought I missed out on a couple of points regarding the liver... but it's over so let's not talk about it XD
After the paper (and the single lecture of the day, Pharm Prac) I went out with... erm lots of people la basically haha lazy to list them all. We went to Vivo wanting to catch a movie, but there was nothing really interesting showing, and some people had already watched some of the movies, so presented with the limited choices we went for Jennifer's Body.
Haha spoilers ahead. Horror and comedy is kind of hard to pull off if you ask me, and while the film was entertaining enough, it was wayyyy too predictable (Deren and I finished up the story verbally half an hour before the end of the movie). The horror wasn't scary at all, though that scene when Needy first encounters a possessed Jennifer in her house where Jennifer roars like a wild beast and throws up that disgusting black fluid was a little disturbing. Angeline's periodic and very un-timely screams were both surround-sound horror moments and comedic. The comedic moments of the film I could appreciate, but I guess most others didn't share the same sense of humour that Deren and I did. It's an acquired taste I guess. All in all, it was decent, but not worth the money D:
Went for Crystal Jade buffet at Holland V with Belinda, Banana and Deren after that. We devoured lots of beef and xlb, got more mushrooms than we bargained for (I swear the mushrooms reproduced as we put them in the soup), and Deren single-handedly destroyed the plate of prawns that we were given and which nobody really wanted to eat without batting an eyelid. Good stuff; it was really worth it! Pictures on FB (:
Yesterday afternoon I played Captain's Ball with... er I'm lazy to list them all again there was lots of people haha. It was raining so we used one of the MPSHs. It was fun =D
