Recess week came and went, CA week came and went, and the chalet to celebrate Diana's birthday came and went. The desire to update my blog never came though D:
Anyway, the chalet was fun. Went down after my lessons on friday, and I was in time for the bbq. We finished bbq-ing pretty early though, and after some TV we went for night cycling, before playing with sparklers and candles at (almost) exactly 12 midnight. We made hearts with the candles, three in total, and they were pretty (: Went to Escape on the second day. We had complimentary tickets! Several rides were down, and several more were gone as compared to a few years back. It was really quite chui. To be honest this was actually my first time at Escape, because I never saw anything worth the ticket price. Makes me miss Malaysia's Sunway Lagoon, and Bintan's Go Karts! The Karts here were awfully slow, and didn't give any thrill, though it was still fun driving on the circuit. We only went on that once as it wasn't quite worth the wait. We took the log flume twice and got really wet, and went on the Viking for about five to six times. At least that was fun! Sitting on opposite sides and laughing at each other =D Then there was the water bumboat thingy, where we basically squirted water at each other for like ten minutes. Met up with the pharm people for our Lantern Festival thingy. First we had dinner at Vivo Secret Recipe, before heading for Henderson Waves by bus, but not before trying and giving up trying to go up the dark path which would lead us past Mount Faber first =p Anyway, we lit our lanterns, shared our mooncakes, watched as two of our lanterns caught fire, played with sparklers, and then walked back to Harbourfront. Yep, via the dark way. It wasn't so scary with lighted candles and in a bigger group (: Yup, anyway. I enjoyed lots of "me" time this past week. Things certainly haven't been easy, but I don't regret anything at all that I've done, and I don't think anyone should live with regrets. I think in the end despite all the prior unhappiness we have found a way to settle things in a mature way. Thanks for everything (: It's a new beginning! Looking forward, not back!
