Good Friday was... good. Well, it's always nice to get a break from work, no matter how much you might enjoy your work.
Watched Fast and Furious 4 yesterday. In this fourth (er, duh) film of the franchise, is the direct sequel to the second film, and is set sometime before the third (and rather unrelated) film. Han from the third film makes a cameo appearance here, and subtly makes a reference to Tokyo. In any case, the movie is good. Not because it has a great story, or good acting, or whatsoever. It's quite ridiculous to watch such a movie for the plot or acting anyway. Instead, the film sets about fulfilling its purpose, and that is to entertain. Action packed scenes like the first scene's high speed robbery on wheels and lots of eye candy for both genders (more babes than hunks though) which also includes the cars and not just the people serve to achieve this. The plot might seem somewhat contrived, but is actually sufficient to prod the story along, and isn't ridiculous unlike that of some other movies. It's also somewhat interesting to see Dom (Vin Diesel, whose facial expressions are almost non-existent, but that's alright) and Brian cooperate against a common enemy despite them not seeing eye-to-eye. All in all, it's a good film, as long as you manage your expectations properly. It's Fast and Furious people, love it for what it is and you'll have a great time (: Stayed over at Zuo Yi's place again yesterday night, and we had lots of fun playing Rayman's Raving Rabbids. It's basically a compilation of mini-games, and the mini-games aren't overly creative, but are fun nonetheless. The games are bizarre, and the random "BWAHHHH" screaming of the rabbids are irritating but somehow rather hilarious. There's also something for everyone I guess. Who knew I'll be the best at a para-para kind of dance/rhythm mini-game? And who knew that Zirui has terrible balance? Haha oops I guess now everyone knows =p ![]() Have a great week ahead everyone (:
