It's Valentine's Day! Happy V-Day everyone... hope everyone had a great day. Yours truly woke up early, changed into a familiar camouflage print uniform which he had not seen since three months ago, and promptly reported to Jurong Camp for a briefing. Wonderful way to start V-day. Seriously though, it was kinda fun and somewhat nostalgic to see everyone in uniform again.
Went to Zhi Heng and Bing Long's farewell party yesterday at Laguna Park, which had the theme "Aspirations". I met up with Ash, Zuo Yi and Ying Hui at Ash's place, which was within walking distance from the venue. It had to be within walking distance though, because a rich arab sheikh, a rock star, an environmentalist and a pharmacist look incredibly weird walking together on the road. There were of course other sporting people who dressed to the theme. Our hosts Bing and ZH were dressed as a doctor and businessman respectively, while Kai Xiang... well, let's just say we could have mistook him for a real policeman =p Others like Ivan got away with simpler "costumes" by being salesmen, or a tennis player in Deslie's case. But I suppose only ZH, Bing and I dressed according to what we really are intending to be. No, Zuo Yi, you wanting to be rich is not the same as being a sheikh. In any case, the sheikh got first place for being the best dressed, followed by Kai Xiang, then me, so we each walked away with prizes. The prizes were an assortment of A'Zone notebooks (ahaha knew it, Bing) and peanuts (no, there was quite literally, peanuts). I got another notebook for participating in the pass-it-on charades game, where a person would have to act out something for another person, who in turn has to pass it on to a third person. Eventually, the fifth person in line must guess what the action is supposed to be based only on how the fourth person acts. Thanks to Claudine for the lab coat/pharmacist jacket, Lee Cheng for the Drug Info Handbook, Doreen for the "Pharmacy Rocks!" badge, and Sophia for almost lending me the Drug Info Handbook ahaha ;o Once again, happy V-day all.
