Well I can't believe it's been more than a week since I last posted. I tend to post on weekends to sum up each week, and it's a mild surprise to myself that I've not done that.
I'm trying to think back what I've done for the week, and it seems the major thing I remember was soccer with Weiquan, Prasad, and the whole crowd that William usually plays soccer with, at Bedok Reservoir. In a sense Weiquan, Prasad and I were like visitors since the last time we've played with this group of people was last November, which was eons ago. Well, one year ago, fine (by the way I did blog about the last time we played soccer with this group of people; check out last Nov's archives heh). Anyway, there were probably too many people there - enough to play field soccer even. I met my Primary School friend, Jin Yong, as well as a couple of other people from VJC, including Ching Kai, my BMT friend and VJC friend's friend heh. It was really fun, but I guess you could've guessed I'd say that already, and probably roll your eyes too at my predictability, because I always say that about each soccer session. Anyway it felt kinda bad that our team (William, Ching Kai, Weiquan, Prasad and I) won quite a few games. I don't mean it in a show-off kind of way, but this does mean that we stayed to play for several matches each time, thus limiting the play time of other teams considerably. As for work, it's been pretty interesting. Some of the things I do, such as counting drug stocks, might seem really mundane, but even I myself am surprised that it doesn't feel boring to me. Well I'm far from being thrilled, but I'm far from complaining too, so everything is happy and good. In summary, I guess what I'm trying to say is that yes, I do like my current job (: Oh, but this week's been really hectic. Guess that planned next article about my time in the SAF will have to wait.
