Ah, Christmas. The time of the year where everyone spends more than they should spend and eat more than they should eat. Though the latter doesn't apply to me, because underweight people need their good food (:

Work ended at 3pm yesterday. Somewhat late for a half-day perhaps, but a welcome early end to the day nonetheless. I proceeded to Novena Square's Adidas to make an exchange for the nice pair of boots given to me by the Alpha specs (thanks guys!), since it was the wrong size. Unfortunately they didn't have any sizes for the design left, save for the display sets, which weren't my size anyway. I had to get another pair, so I picked an electric blue pair with white stripes at the side and black embellishments. I had wanted to get back the same design of course, but I guess this wasn't too shabby either. In fact, it does look cool enough. Please with the exchange, I was about to leave for home when MPH beckoned to me and I popped in to find three copies of Halo: The Cole Protocol on the shelf, and I promptly grabbed it. Hey, like I said, Christmas is a time where people spend more than they should spend ;o

Oh, and I tried out the boots today by playing soccer with the Bedok Reservoir, er, gang, conglomeration, group, whatever. My soccer sessions there had always involved meeting people who were somewhat connected, and today there was someone new whom I knew, once again; Min Khai from my BMT platoon. Back on the topic of my boots, they're still a little stiff, and hard at the front, but I guess as it softens and becomes a better fit I'll be able to get used to them. Today though, a combination of the, erm, un-comfy-ness of the boots and a lack of form prevented me from scoring much. Oh well it's one of those days I guess.

Merry Christmas everyone.
