You know you're not used to the new lift that operates on every floor when you are still pressing "11" each time you enter the lift when you actually live on the 12th floor.

I just looked at my little wishlist thingy at the side of my blog and while I've updated it a few times I've never really looked at what's on it, and now I realised that BoA's The Face, which was released in February, is still there. Guess I'm not too great a fan after all if I've put off purchasing it that long T_T

Halo: The Cole Protocol was released today, but I'm not sure if it's arrived at Singapore shores. It's the sixth and final book in the current series of novels based on the popular Xbox game, and I'm looking forward to a good read. It's the first novel by Tobias S. Buckell for the series, so it remains to be seen if I'll like his work compared to Eric Nylund's.

Continuing on this trend of random-new-topic-every-paragraph for today's blog entry, I finished Timothy Zahn's Allegiance, set immediately after the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. It's an interesting read that somehow reminds me of Halo: Ghosts of Onyx in the sense that the story is told in three parallel threads that eventually intertwine, much like how Dr. Catherine Halsey (with Kelly), the other Spartans (Fred, Linda and Will) and Kurt and his Spartan IIIs eventually join up on Onyx. Having not read any Star Wars book since... well, it's been so long I can't remember. Probably Secondary School time. Aaaanyway. I think I'm probably gonna get the other books in the Thrawn Trilogy, though I've read them before, as well as that of the Hand of Thrawn duology, just to read more about Mara Jade and her eventual marriage to Luke Skywalker. Hmmm.

You're probably thinking "geeeeek" right now.
