Played soccer today at Singapore Khalsa Association near Boon Keng with Weiquan, Prasad, and Weiquan's JC friends (whom I do not know). Well there were supposed to be several other specs including William and Daniel, but everyone pangseh-ed us =p

It was still fun though, but my extremely eroded sole could hardly get a grip on the artificial turf so while I could still accelerate, deceleration was almost equivalent to falling over, and I missed several good chances entirely. They weren't even miskicks, but entire misses. For instance, I would run into the area to take a shot with my right foot and have the ball hit my left kness and bounce away. Nonetheless, we somehow managed to win quite a few games and I scored a couple along the way despite the profligacy in front of goal =p

In other news, I've just completed NinjaTown on the Nintendo DS! It's basically a strategy game not unlike other tower defence games. You build structures to stop waves of enemies from getting from Point A to Point B (and sometimes more points than that). In this case, the structures are, well, huts which house ninjas. Think of ninja and I get the image of a cool looking person, identify shrouded in mystery, with some nifty shuriken-tossing and sword-wielding skills. Think Ryu Hayabusa:



But. NinjaTown changes that mental image completely! Its ninjas are all cute and cuddly heh. Plus the script is humourous.

Look at the Ninja baby awww...



Maybe I don't know where to search, but Singapore doesn't really have game-related merchandise for sale. Because I would sure like to have these:
