Mostly done with my new blog skin, modified from scratch by yours truly. Thanks to Jeremy for the html help; you're indeed a better solution than any html validator ;p
Now all that's left to do is some aesthetic touch-up and some less important changes. Stay tuned! ... in case anyone cares, that is.

Friday was our company bbq, to sort of bid farewell to my batch of specs. Did I mention that I'm hours away from ORD? :p
We surprisingly didn't drink that much, but had fun in other, not necessarily less harmful ways. Tiny tried to take me down, and in turn everyone tried to take him down. In the ensuing brawl, things got a little messy, and Tiny ended up shorts-less while LTA Jason ended up with Tiny's shorts worn over his own torn shorts. I'll leave the rest to your imagination :x

Guess that marks an end to my 22 months of mandatory service to the Singapore Armed Forces! I still remember each phase of my army life quite clearly, from BMT to SISPEC, to ETI, and to 30 SCE, followed by courses at Seletar Camp and, most recently, at ETI again. I still recall the time we had to help in NDP, which was undeniably the highlight of my two years in my opinion; the time when we were to help in the search for our escaped terrorist, still at large may I add; and our summary exercise in Thailand. I'll also look back on little things like nights out to Jurong Point and playing LAN with my coursemates during AESC. I guess people always claim that NS is a waste of time, but I honestly don't think so. Well it does suck a little for our female peers to be two years ahead of us by the time we enter Uni, but other than that NS is actually a good experience in my opinion. While I don't think I have changed that much (or have I?) after these two years, I got to do things which I'll never do in my entire life (and nothing can compare to sleeping in a dug hole in the ground in thick jungle, trust me), all of which make up fond memories, though I still wince at the things we've done, and will complain non-stop nonetheless the next time I have to do these things during In-Camp Training.

Guess it's kinda hard to summarise all my thoughts about these 22 months, so. I've decided to write something like a column on my NS experiences. Stay tuned! (Once again, in case anyone cares :p)
