I went MIA (:
Went back to Jurong Camp for the first time since ages ago on the 15th, after which everyone in the platoon pretty much went their separate ways. Weiquan, John and Prasad remain, while Joon Hong had already left for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). Me? I'm currently back at the home of the Engineers, which is Nee Soon Camp, for AESC, which is pretty much a CSM course. Joining me from Alpha Coy is only Nicholas. Jie Sheng and Leslie make up the rest of 30 SCE, while we are also joined by two more NSFs and 6 regulars from various other units. It's pretty fun to be have the regulars as our fellow trainees heh. Some used to teach us back when we were trainees at ETI =p I've spent a week and a half at Nee Soon so far, and it's pretty relaxing. Full day loads of lectures and project work might be a little taxing mentally, but the canteen breaks and the fact that each day ends at around 6pm makes it bearable. We went Ang Mo Kio Hub for Pepper Lunch dinner (as funny as it sounds) and Money No Enough 2 (haha, that's very laggy of us, I know) on Monday, Northpoint for dinner on Wednesday, and I got to come home on Tuesday and Thursday heh. This lifestyle is going to continue for another week, before the training starts to get hectic during the second phase of the course.
