My final weekend to be spent in Singapore for a while T_T
Flying off to Thailand on Thursday for our summary Exercise, which will last all the way till 9 Sep, consuming three full weekends on the way.

Friday was our company outing, where we went on a National Education tour to Kranji War Memorial, Ford Factory and Battle Box (at Fort Canning). Our tour guide was someone named Bill, and it's pretty astounding how he manages to rattle off historical facts and figures that easily. It was an interesting trip, made more enjoyable by the fact that I haven't been on such "field trips" for some time already which makes me feel like I was reliving some of my childhood heh. I learned some interesting facts of course, while refreshing what I knew about WWII.

Following that, the eight of us specs from Alpha proceeded to Maju Camp for an ORD E-Prep Roadshow. Basically E-Prep is a scheme which aims to help us get ready for civilian life after ORD by offering us online courses which either refreshes our knowledge or teaches us new skills. We had our lunch at the canteen while watching Lee Jia Wei's (table tennis) game. Woohoo, Team Singapore assured a medal <3

Played soccer today with Ying Hui and co at Tampines. It was like another other day of soccer, but somehow we seemed to spurn a lot of chances today and it got frustrating for a bit, especially when I make a run past several players only to fail to score when I get in front of goal. Kinda sounds like how Arsenal plays sometimes when they try to pass the ball into the net heh. Which reminds me: Yay, EPL season has started again ^^
