I dug a shellscrape for the final time in Singapore (I think) heh. The next time I do digging, it'll be in Thailand. Gosh, it's already August. I'll be flying to Thailand for an overseas Exercise at the end of the month. Specifically, on the 21st. Will be back on the 9th of September. It's our final evaluation! Everything we've worked on so far, it'll all come to fruition this time round. If this Exercise sounds important, well, that's because it is (:

We had our CO Change of Command Parade on Thursday, followed by a happy hour event at the Specialists' Mess. I tried to stay away from the drinks, but got dragged into the little Alpha Coy gathering to celebrate Lieutenant Ziyang's promotion to Captain, as well as Platoon Sergeants Tjandra and Ming Cong's promotion to First Sergeant. They all got pretty high, and I got dragged along into the drinks too, so yeah. Nick and I were supposed to book out that night for we both were on leave for Friday, but he got kinda drunk and I had to send him back heh. It was funny how he started scolding all his men when he got back to the bunks.

Lol.

Played soccer at Tampines again today, but this time only at 6pm. The court was crowded, but we did manage to get to our turn to play. We got knocked out pretty quickly though, and our keeper got hit in the mouth or something and his braces cut his gums, so he left for home. I got a pretty bad bruise myself on my leg. The guy shot so aggressively he might as well shoot me into goal too. Thankfully he only scraped my leg.
