One more outfield Exercise down, but just when I thought there was only one more to go before the summary Exercise at Thailand, a slew of trainings and Exercises have been added to the training schedule. Oh well :(

The week was stressful at times, with stores and other administrative matters to attend to, coupled with some occasions when things go wrong through little fault on our part and we get blamed for it anyway, but it ended off on a high when we successfully completed our "mission". The final part of the Exercise, where we had to retreat (or rather simulate a retreat)by running one or two kilometres hefting our loads of varying weights, was incredibly exhausting, but totally worth it. If you witnessed the scene it would have felt like this scene in Black Hawk Down where the troops who couldn't fit into the armoured personnel carriers had to run out of the city under enemy fire behind the APCs. Anyway, it was worth the effort for the sheer sense of victory and satisfaction we all felt at the end.

And. Spain plays in the final tonight! I kinda like the Germans, but I've supported Spain always, so Spain ftw. No Villa? Sure, we'll just throw on Fabregas and win anyway aha. Looking forward to the sweet taste of victory, shared with you, my fellow fan of Spain ;o
