Two of my Saturdays this month are gonna get burned. 1 x COS, 1 x Guard 2IC =(

For our course this week we finally started on the actual construction of our modular kit, which would eventually become a toilet. We spent the first few days placing, joining and securing underground pipes by cementing them in place with the help of large rocks and bricks, after taking into consideration the design factors such as the specific locations of each toilet bowl, wash basin and urinal. We also built up the self-cast inspection chambers and septic tanks and performed plastering on the final structures, before installing the covers. Basically the week was spent toiling away under the hot sun, mixing cement, digging and whatnot but it was strangely satisfying when we see the end product, albeit an end product which is meant for sewage.

Oh, and I got thwacked on the jaw by a metal bar. It was the metal extension which connects to the cement mixer and is used to turn the motor until a certain speed is reached so that the engine could be started. So I slotted the piece in, spun it a few times to rotate the motor, and when I started going faster the thing flew out and its inertia caused it to spin into my jaw. It left quite a gash which thankfully required no stitches since I was able to stop the bleeding.

Cotton Wool: $0.20
Band-Aid: $0.30
Look on Wee Hung's face: Priceless

Wee Hung's afraid of blood, by the way ;o And I have no idea how much the cotton wool and plasters cost actually.
