Yay, earned another day off, this time due to my company getting 2nd in the battalion's soccer tournament. We beat Bravo 4-0 in the first match, while Delta (which lost to Bravo 3-2 in an earlier match) forfeited our second match, earning us a 3-0 "win" by default. However, we were beaten soundly in the final by HQ, with the game ending 7-2 in their favour. That, after their resounding 9-0 and 7-0 victories in their two group games. Urgh. I played in both matches as a second half substitute, taking over Prem and Daniel respectively.

Anyway, Happy Lunar New Year everyone! Visited my aunt's place yesterday, which was basically the "gathering place" for my maternal family. There was the usual polite banter and well-wishing and whatnot, but aside from that we (as usual) didn't strike up many meaningful conversations with anyone, so I watched some variety shows on TV and completed Fire Emblem's Chapter 19 on my DS >.>

Oh, we saw a rat near a trash bin on our way home heh. I guess it must've known that it would be inauspicious to hurt a rat in the first day of the year of the rat, so it was creeping around audaciously =)
