It was catching-up-with-old-friends day yesterday! Met up with the AHS 4K '04 guys at Tampines Mall for lunch at Phin's. Zheng Hao, Hui Kiang, Wei Quan, Gerald and Kai Xiang were there, whereas Han Tao, Gary and Jeremy were absent due to a medical appointment to down-PES, duty, and sleeping too much, respectively. It's nice hearing from them again, and it was like old times as we started taking turns to suan one another once again, with Zheng Hao and Gerald taking the brunt of most of the suan-ing =p

Later in the evening, I met up with my former section mates of CESC 01/07 for dinner at MOF at Marina Square. Or rather, half the section, for only Roger, Daniel and my buddy, Fang You, were present. We instantly exchanged news about our various units. Fang You's 5SIR life was the least eventful, while Daniel and I updated them on 30 SCE life. Roger's account of the happenings at ETI were the most interesting though. All the Platoon Warrants leaving, with Staff Edwin going over to the Plant Engineer side and Staff Simon becoming the Wing Sergeant Major of the Cadet Training Wing. We heard about the (mis)adventures of Benjamin Quek, the antics of the female spec-to-be who is apparently going to join us at 30 SCE Alpha, Roger turning out the trainees because they did not adhere to the lights out timing (funny, given that Roger used to stay up past 12 midnight with the rest of the section in the previous course!), etc. Kinda makes me miss ETI all over again =)

Last but not least, went over to Zy's to watch soccer with him and Ash. Go Liverpool. 3-0 yeah. Long way to go though =/
