A good start to a new year? Not so, I guess. Three busy days preparing for standby, Friday COS duty (which meant that I only booked out today morning) and Sunday guard duty, that is, guard duty tomorrow. Which in turn translates into less than 24 hours spent out of camp, much less at home.

Standby starts next week. I'm worried about signing extra duties for improperly maintained equipment, forgetting engineer knowledge, having packs which leak when dumped in the water in the spec mess's vat. Maybe I'm worrying too much though. Still, can't wait for the next six weeks to be over ^^
