Relatively short week, all thanks for Deepavali and 30 SCE's 39th Anniversary celebrations. Wednesday was our mess initiation, and suffice to say everyone drank quite a bit. Matthew and Nicholas kinda concussed, but the difference between them was Matthew only survived one can of beer whereas Nicholas survived about 8. Heh.
Had a Scouts gathering on Thursday at Ministry of Food @ Bugis. Yinghui, Ash, Zy, Zhi Heng, Enci, Zhang Sheng and Jy turned up, with Ms Charis Wong as our usual "guest" heh. We engaged in our usual banter about army life and scouting while being mean (as usual, too) to Ashvin once in a while. After lunch we took photos outside the restaurant, and that was when we realised that the last such gathering was at Seoul Garden, at Bugis as well. Nothing unusual it seems, but uncannily, Seoul Garden was located at the same place MoF was at now when we last visited the place.
Had the second part of the Anniversary celebrations at Sentosa yesterday, specifically Sapphire Pavilion at Siloso Beach. The games weren't too interesting, but it was fun watching people get dunked while evading it all myself by conveniently disappearing whenever people's attention shifted to me heh. It was also fun playing beach soccer and getting sprayed all over with sand while repaying the favour to others. Of course, since it was Sentosa, there were other "attractions" for everyone's, eh, viewing pleasure. Daniel's failure to save several shots was due to his sight-seeing. Went to Vivo with the Charlie specs and William after the event to lobo a while. Yeah, six guys window shopping and stuff.
And thanks for taking time out on Thursday night. I don't know how one can just sit and chat in the night breeze for barely a half hour and feel like it's the best thing to have happened to him in weeks or even months, but that's how exactly I felt =)
