This week was both good and bad for me. The good? I've cleared my Intermediate Close Combat Training package and its subsequent grading. The bad? I failed my Advanced Trainfire Programme, aka M16 live range.

Started off the week doing boring guard duty on Monday, enlivened only by a certain RP (I can't remember his name though) who told the sentry to take aim with his rifle at people who refuse to comply with his instructions over things as trivial as entering by the side gate and stopping for security checks. Tuesday and Wednesday saw an end to the ICCT package, and then we had our ATP on Thursday and Friday, which I somehow managed to fail by two shots. I can think of several excuses. Fatigue resulting from having to be chamber safety specialists whenever we were not firing (interestingly, many of us speclialists failed our ATP), my developmental cataract affecting my vision... but ultimately I guess I need to improve on my fundamentals of firing with an m16 rifle. *sigh* Guess I'll see Yi Hao, Andrew, Chee Yao, and everyone else at the next ATP =p

Anyway I bought Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (a GameBoy Advance game) for my Nintendo DS, since I haven't gotten a letter of authorisation for my DS's microSD card yet. Yayness. The same old things that I liked in FE6 and FE7 return to make this game as addictive as they were ^-^
