And so four of our specs from Alpha Coy leaves for Delta Coy and the remaining platoon 1 specs have moved out (yay Prasad and his three years of dust and dirt are gone), leaving Jonathan, George, Jian Wen, Weiquan and I behind in the bunk. Since Jian Wen, busy with his As, and Jonathan and George, clearing their pre-ORD leave and off, are pretty much absent on most days, that leaves 2 in the bunk, down from more than 10 in the past. As a result, the atmosphere isn't as lively any more, when everyone from Kiat Tat to Daniel to Yu Fung would be contributing to the din that usually precedes bed time. However, the bunk's also that much more peaceful now, and there's also a lot more space. Which means:

~Wq and I can now easily find space for our Magic the Gathering duels
~The bunk doesn't look super cluttered even when our LBVs and Field Packs are strewn all over
~It is no longer swelteringly hot in the bunk, nor is the air as stale

Anyway, the highlight of the week was Exercise Hotcake... which my platoon failed, and part of it was my fault in that some of the azimuths that I used were inaccurate, and part of it was because we moved too slowly and were hesitant at some parts. Hopefully the next few exercises will finally go our way, so that I and my platoon won't lapse into a confidence crisis. Hmmm. Sounds like Liverpool. 18
