My first full week at 30 SCE didn't go quite well. The highlight of the week was the Section Proficiency Test, which tested our proficiency in clearing and constructing obstacles. Our timing and quality of the work were evaluated during this SPT. In leading my section, I guess I failed a little, since my section were at best mediocre, and at worst, the last for a certain station. I guess my superiors were a little disappointed in that the best trainee's section did not perform well at all. Thankfully we did much better in our remedial training, though we still failed to meet the timing for one of the stations. I'm still trying to pinpoint the reason(s) as to why our section couldn't perform though. It could be poor G&T, poor situational awareness, poor communication between me and my 2IC, or maybe the schedule was just bad in that we did the hardest stations at night, and we waited too long in the first day, resulting in a very very packed second day which made the section more tired for the stations. Whatever it is, the mental stress and physical fatigue made this a really taxing week, but I guess I'll continue to seek, strive, and hopefully excel heh.

Had steamboat at Marina with Ash and Zy's family last night. We ate a lot (and the four guys there drank a little) and laughed at the people sitting outside when it started to rain, then when we had our fill we left for Zy's house for a night of EPL =)

Boro and Liverpool disappointed me with a 3-0 loss and 0-0 draw respectively, whereas Arsenal wowed with Fabregas's and Adebayor's tyco splendid goals. The Chelsea match wasn't too entertaining though, so we went to do some friendster-surfing and gossip-monging and catch-up-ing. We also had a go at playing my DS games, especially Pokemon lol =p

Oh well and now it's time to book in again, for a week of duties: Duty Spec today, Conducting Spec for CO Parade tomorrow, COS tomorrow, Guard duty on Friday =(
