Last night, on the chats...
[18:32] (TK-Away) sup :0 [18:33] (me) waiting for my sister to get home. her latest purchase was a book :O [18:36] (TK-Away) is it...a certain kind of book? [18:36] (me) yes. [18:36] (TK-Away) as in, the final book in a particular series? [18:36] (me) yarh :d [18:36] (TK-Away) the one in which certain people die? [18:36] (me) yeah [18:36] (TK-Away) oic [18:36] (TK-Away) want spoilers? :P [18:36] (me) Star Wars: Return of the Jedi [18:36] (TK-Away) NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOL. Anyway, the past week was gone just like the previous week. Several bookouts (yay), going to 30 SCE and the primary school each of us were assigned to for NE Show 2 on Wednesday, and a landmine warfare field camp on Thursday and Friday, except that it was now in the form of an Exercise called Wolf and lasting all of two days and one night, with no sleep. Saturday came again, and the same routine as the previous week ensued, starting off with gathering at Marina Square's Mac. Wee Keat got us all excited with his purchase of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and to those who were obviously fearful of hearing any spoilers, we rambled off "spoilers" such as "Harry has the Allspark!", "Voldemort and Harry have a lightsaber duel", "Dobby-wan Kenobi rescues Harry" and "Snape bites off Dumbledore's finger and falls into the flames of Mount Doom". Then we proceeded into the Seating Gallery to mark our seats, collect entry tickets, and familiarise ourselves with the place once again, before taking cookhouse food (where's the KFC we had last week?) and getting onto the buses to ship us all to our schools. Griffiths Primary School was my destination this time, and the smaller size of their primary 5 cohort (141 compared to Yumin's 257) meant that it was easier to manage the students. Funpacks were distributed, attendance taken, authentication forms completed... the usual procedure. Then we set off for the Seating Gallery. Deja-vu eh. The show seemed more dull in comparison to the previous week's. Perhaps it was because I was watching it for the second type and nothing surprised me anymore, or maybe because some events were dumbed down or cancelled altogether due to the bad weather, or maybe because some changes were not really appropriate imo (such as the fireworks being split up into two parts). Took more pictures nonetheless, but once again there was never a dull moment being there as a liaison personnel... people looked for the soldiers whenever ANYTHING happens. As if I knew how to swap the colours on the funpack, as if I knew how to fix faulty fans, and as if I was in charge of clearing rubbish =/ Anyway, photos of the past two NE Shows are available here! Hopefully they're all decently taken. I don't think my photography skills are up to standard.
