SHIT.

Anyway, yesterday was College Day for VJ, and Zu Hao and I went back to get a Service Award and an OVA Gold Medal for Academic Excellence, respectively. I can imagine how bored the rest of the school is, rotting away in the lecture theatres and maybe hall, watching the proceedings from the overhead projector's display. After all, I went through all that myself for the past two years =p

After the event, we had some food and chatted with friends and our teachers, before finding a secluded T block toilet to change to our Smart 4 before leaving college for Marina Bay, amidst curious stares from the VJ students.

This time around was the NDP Preview, and we were all deployed outside from the seating gallery, but the view was nonetheless pretty good for we were closer to the Dynamic Defence Display's chinook, apaches and assault boats. Crowds of civilians squeezed themselves in the area demarcated by the metal barricades, and made us feel like waving our security passes at them and sing "don't cha wish that you had a pass like this?"

A pity that I had to do some road block duty, away from the seating gallery, when the fireworks, all 100% of it this time, were set off. Still, I managed to get a video clip (once again) of it, albeit with lots of smoke obscuring the full effect of the fireworks, and the Esplanade building blocking part of the video.
