Relatively short week, during which we learned more about landmine warfare and had lots of lectures.

As for this coming week would mark the end of our basic phase of training as a Combat Engineer Specialist. From here, we would be sorted out into various specialised vocations, such as Field, Armoured, Plant, CBRD (Chemical, Biological, Radiological Defence) and EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal). For my platoon, we're told that most of us would end up as Field Engineers =/

Anyway, we had a "class" outing yesterday, but it was semi-fail as the turnout was (once again) poor. Only Qing Hui, Hong Yi, Zi Rui, Rachel, Yao Min, Elinor, Wei Wei and Lindy turned up. And we didn't really talk that much to one another except during lunch, where we talked mainly about university courses.
