The week gone by was basically a physical training week, with three SOC lessons including a test (which I could skip since the school decided to acknowledge our trial test scores as actual scores), two endurance runs, the confidence obstacles course, as well as a 6km FBO fast march on Saturday.
Booked out early on Saturday for the final interview round for the NUS Scholarship. There were 6 interviewing me this time, so it was more stressful than before. I hope I did okay, though I kinda screwed up my discussion about Evolution Theory vs Creation Theory >.> Went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean with Zuo Yi in the evening. Ah me matey, the film's pretty good, but several moments make me feel like the filmmakers are walking the plank on a sinking ship. The rickety plot drives the story through double-crosses, triple-crosses and quadruple-crosses between the characters, leaving moi kinda confused at times. The special effects were pretty good though, and they make me go "shiver me timbers!" Overall, me hearties, if yer think yer can follow the twists and turns and maelstorm of a story, the plot may be a merry yam for yer, aye. What are yer waiting for? Weigh anchor! Hoist the mizzen! Anyway, we went to Bedok Central for dinner/supper/dipper/sunner after the movie, and had a mini-feast consisting of chicken chop, char kway teow, wanton mee, and dessert. Too bad the queue for the watermelon dessert thingy with incredibly inelastic demand was too long, so we didn't get to try the delicious looking thing. About three more days to my Graduation Parade! You can prepare to call me Corporal Ong ;o
