BSLC is coming to an end, and, similar to the situation I faced towards the end of BMT, we're all facing uncertainty as to where we would be posted next. Some people have an idea, since they've been selected for interviews for posting to units such as 6 Singapore Infantry Regiment, 6 Singapore Armour Brigade (or is it Battalion?), etc. For me... no idea, but I have a bad feeling it's gonna be ASLC. Hopefully I get my dream posting to Air Defence Artillery or something heh.

Morale has been better recently, what with us having our first nights out on Wednesday, though that coincided with my off-in-lieu so I didn't get to enjoy the nights out. Then Friday saw morale drop back a little when our supposed second nights out was cancelled, and we had to contend with a canteen break instead. At the same time, our book out timing for Saturday was pushed further back by a sudden insertion of an extra SOC training session.

I opted to go attend the wedding dinner of my *takes a deep breath* mum's childhood friend's daughter, with my mum, instead of going to watch the FA Cup Final with Ash, Zy and maybe Des. It was at some restaurant at some random building in the Chinatown-Clarke Quay area. The food was okay, and the second dish of fish-fillet-lookalike-salad was interesting, but that was about it. Like typical chinese wedding banquets, guests arrived really late and there was a lot of waiting involved, both before the dinner started and in between the arrival of each dish. Plus there wasn't anyone remotely near to my age at my table, so it was kinda boring. Oh well.

Went to Katong with Zy to have lunch today, followed by shopping for junk food to bring back to camp. <3 Poiful Jelly Beans.

Preparing myself mentally for Combat Life Saver test, 3 SOC sessions including one test, several endurance runs, and a fast march in the upcoming week. Not to mention section IMT, Urban Ops aka FIBUA, etc. It's gonna be a hectic week =|
