With that, the SIT Test has been concluded. It was tiring, though not quite as bad as Field Camp. First day of the test was the highlight: it was the 12km route march. It was the first time we were having a route march in our Long 4 attire instead of vest slack, and our bodies were not acclimatised to such conditions. Moreoever, we started late and the route march dragged on into the afternoon. Several people fell out of the march, and therefore failed the test immediately and have to be re-scheduled for a re-SIT Test. That's how tough it was. Miraculously I dragged myself (literally) to the end and so our SIT Test began.
That was not the end of our route marches though. The second day was our 4km fast march, which was equally hard for we were almost jogging instead of marching. The third day was our 2km fast march, but with a twist this time: we had to hold our rifles over our heads while marching. And that was our SIT Test, minus information about the other parts to it because it's all classified =p
