Strange how subjective time can be. Four days have passed in the blink of an eye, and yet when I was at Field Camp each day seemed like a month =p
Booking in tonight, with the SIT Test starting tomorrow with a 12km route march followed by 4 and 2 km fast marches on the two subsequent days. Let's hope my aching back can tahan that much more ;o Had another "Scouts reunion" yesterday evening, this time at Zuo Yi's house. First we went for dinner at Parkway, where there was seriously nothing much open, so we had BK. Anyway the whole evening was basically another session where the NS people would share their stories and the pre-enlistees would listen attentively to glean as much useful information as possible heh. Along the way we played lots of cards and ate quite a bit of finger food (hopefully little enough to NOT get any medical status when we book in). And suddenly today is spent on preparing for booking in again. Went to the army shop in Tampines to buy some stuff before having lunch with my mum at the hawker centre there (Tampines West, Blocks 800+). Ah, the nostalgia. Civilian life has never felt so good before, even if it's just walking around, eating at the hawker centre and drinking bubble tea. My advice: You pre-enlistees should enjoy life as much as possible before enlisting, while you girls should just appreciate life in general ;o
