Well this must be one of the worst possible times to get sick. Initially planned to have dinner out but the plan was scrapped because of my fever. I'm also enlisting on Thursday so I hope I get well real soon, and be all prepped up for the training.
Went out last Friday afternoon with Zy and Chee Chiat, to help Zy, who was helping some other person, find a shop space for rent around the tamp area. Unfortunately there were none, and we stopped by Century Square to have lunch. Turned out that a Sakae Teppenyaki outlet had just opened, so we decided to have our lunch there. Opening day offer: 30% off ;o
CC and I each ordered a Chicken Set while Zy ordered a beef set, but they got the individual food items in each set wrong, and CC and I got Tofu Steak while Zy didn't get any. We had no idea, but Zy realised and he was given one too after enquiring about it. So we get Tofu Steaks for free heheh.
After lunch, we walked around some more... but we should never have passed by the bus stop. A woman was hassling some school boys, and when we walked past, she came to us and begged for ten dollars to feed her parents. We were skeptical, but she went on her knees... and she got her ten dollars. We decided to "tail" her for a bit, and followed her from afar. Round the corner of the MRT Station, however, she turned back and caught a glimpse of us. We rushed to the corner and turned, but there was no sign of her initially... until we spotted her rushing into Tampines Mall. Fancy a starving, broke woman running faster than three teenage boys =x
It took us a minute or two to cross the road, but when we entered TM she was already no where in sight. We scoured the supermarket and bread shops which were likely locations for getting food, but there was no sight of her, so we left the place. Hmm, wonder if she was really broke or a cheat =/
That evening, I went out with the usual crowd again ^^;
It was fun as usual.
-Dinner at Thai Express, with CK telling his tale of his failed attempt at finding a job. Gift specialist XD
-Bowling, where we all had really terrible games except for CK and Chris. We got more zeros than the other people in the Alley combined I think =p
