So... now I'm finally able to legally purchase alcoholic drinks =O
Well Tuesday was spent almost entirely at Ck's house, playing games and stuff. Hy brought several games demo to play on Ck's comp as well, so from early in the morning to about 4pm we just lazed around and played Need for Speed (Hy's forte), Dead or Alive (which I was somewhat best at =p), cards (Eunice clinched victory in most of the games) , and Football Manager 2007 (finally, Ck's turn to be good at something ;o) After that it was still rather early for dinner, so we went East Coast to have a quick game of bowling, but squandered our money away by trying atrocious ways to throw the ball. The rain (which has lasted since the day started) got heavier at that point in time so we went to Mac to wait it out, where Ck the Love Guru gave us a little lesson on using cards to predict love life (etcetera), which we remain skeptical about, even till now =p Next we went to have dinner, which was a simple affair at Marina Bay food court. All in all, my birthday wasn't anything special, but spending the day with you people was great. Gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling <3 As for yesterday, it was the first time since A's that the "Food Gang" was reunited, what with Eunice going for a holiday in HK and Zirui leaving for the US before she was back. Zirui was somewhat subdued and not his usual self due to jet-lag =p And so we indulged ourselves in food and entertainment the entire day. First was bowling, where I got my best score yet (this is only the fourth game in my life >.<) , then arcade games (yay high score in Crazy Taxi -_-), and then lunch at Yuki & Yaki, which was kinda yaki, er, yucky. The seasoning was really bad, if there's even any seasoning at all. Next time we'll go back to Seoul Garden instead =/ Then we played cards right smack in the middle of the food court on tiny cards which Zr brought back from the US, before Guru Chiu took over once more and attempted to read our love lives. Watched The Holiday in the evening. No, it's not a chick flick, but a romantic comedy, so there's a very slight difference =p Well the show was... kinda beautiful I must say, albeit somewhat predictable, as are most shows of this kind. Even if you dislike such movies, you should watch it for the cute dog, not-so-cute sheep, and the two adorable little girls ^^; After all, even Zr, who yawned at all the inappropriate moments of the movie, thinks they're cute =p
