Oh, did I mention a few days ago that I've finished the final Boss of Final Fantasy IV a few days ago? Heh anyway (if you cannot stand a game freak ranting on and on about a game he likes, please skip to several paragraphs ahead) after defeating that final Boss, a 50-level dungeon will be unlocked, together with trials to complete for all ten characters. Took me about another further 12 hours of gameplay or so to complete these trials... Anyway, following that, the only two quests left in the game were to defeat the final two bosses, Bracharaidos and Zeromus-EG... and ten minutes ago, I did it; I defeated both ;o

This is my party, consisting of (from top) Rosa Farrell (about to use Curaja), main character Cecil Harvey, Edward Chris von Muir, Kain Highwind and Edward "Edge" Geraldine. They're taking on Zeromus-EG :D

K, enough about the game. Anyway I watched Germany v Italy last night, as did many others, and darn it; Italy beat Germany T_T It wasn't as though Germany played badly. Italy were just too good I guess =/

The match lasted all the way till 5:35am, so I barely slept after that... and, before the game, I slept at 12:30 or so. Hmmm. That makes it about 2 hours of sleep. No wonder I nodded off to sleep on the way home, on bus 31 >.o

Heh I "argued" with FW (with some input from the others) about the match on the chats, by the way. Here are some excerpts, except with edited nicknames.

[me] heh i stayed up to watch the Germany match
[T] poor Germany :< I was darting in and out of my office to watch it next door :x
* FW was at a party and couldn't watch the f***ing Italians dive their way into the final
[me] lol they actually played well... it's not that Germany weren't good, but that Italy were better
[K] Ewww Italians
[i_has_a_shuvel] they kept diving, but the refs weren't falling for it, so they finally decided to play D:
[FW] [me]:it's not that Germany weren't good, but that Italy were better <--- Yes, because teams that give up 2 goals in 2 minutes are still good. it was more of a lapse in concentration than not playing well though
[FW] Seriously it sounds exactly like the Australia-Japan game, like Germany just said "f*** it" and gave up, leading to the 2-0

Oh well, let's hope the Germans will win third place, Miroslav Klose will get the Golden Boot, Spain will do much, much better the next major tournament (which is Euro 2008), and that Asia will do better as a continent the next time round (GOOO IRAN!) ;o
