Exams are almost over! In fact, some like CK and Eunice have already finished their papers as of 2 hours ago T_T The rest will complete their exams tomorrow, whereas WY, HY and I have the disgusting Bio 'S' test on Friday.
Oh well, since Chem is an afternoon paper I have some time to rest tonight. The lack of cable TV at home means that I have been deprived of much World Cup football, with my viewing pleasure limited to the Germany and Costa Rica tournament opener. Poor me has to content with reading the newspapers, match highlights on Channel Newsasia, soccernet, and ESPN liveupdates. I'm glad Spain has finally started to play well. Hope they can totally shed that "perennial underachievers" tag! It would be nice if Mr Aragones plays Joaquin Sanchez more =( Oh by the way Joaquin looks increasingly more like Steven Gerrard. So... Italy beat Socceroos by having Fabio Grosso basically touch Neill's back and theatrically drop to the ground like he'd been shot, whereas Switzerland totally failed at penalties and went home empty-handed, unfortunately for them. And tonight there's Spain playing France! I used to like France, especially due to the mercurial talents of Zinedine Zidane, but somehow I have a slight dislike for Raymond Domenech I can't quite explain. Still, there's no doubt that I'll be supporting Spain, even in this one. Now now... to all you England fans out there, England is disappointing! I'm more of a neutral instead being a fan or disliking them, so there's no bias there imo. They are so quick to lay the blame on everything besides themselves. First they complain about the extreme heat conditions in Germany, but that affects other teams as well, even if you argue that teams like Ecuador are more used to such heat. In the latest episode of their blame game, Paul Robinson now claims that the grass is too dry. Er... ooookay. If you say so. My personal opinion is that they can still stand a good chance, but they have to wise up quickly (which includes having to settle on a fixed formation) or face elimination.
