Lolupdate. Haven't had time to do much with my blog, so it's kinda falling into disrepair ;[

Anyway, since VJC was used as a polling centre for the Generation Elections (which was just over, in case you've been living under a stone for the past few weeks), so we had lessons till 11am on Friday, before the police come in at 12 and fine anyone caught in college premises... and so we had the rest of the day off. Went to Cine to watch M:I:3 with CP, Eunice, Lindy, Zirui, HY and WY. Highly recommended if you're looking for some adrenaline rush and heart-pumping action, especially if you've been watching G-rated movies like Ice Age 2 and The Wild recently (Elinor, listen up!). It's got all the important components of a good action movie; action-packed fighting scenes, outrageous rescue missions, going-all-over-the-world-fighting-baddies... blah blah blah. Unfortunately, co-producer Tom Cruise focused too much on himself and most of the time all we see is him running about or trying (and maybe failing a bit) to show us that he is a good actor. Shan't spoil the movie further for you; but overall it was good, so catch it if you can =P

After that we just walked around aimlessly, and getting separated from the girls every ten minutes as they venture into shops that sell those girly apparel stuff and Neoprint shops. It was a well-deserved break from our hectic school schedule (speaking of that... I need to do Curve Sketching and Electrochem and study for tests), I guess. Anyway we went to Kino, and I ended up buying the World Cup Magazine, which I bought for ZY's bdae =P However, I DID NOT MANAGE TO GET THE FREE POSTER. Grrr.

Sat was polling day of course. I stayed up to watch the special programme... nothing too unexpected though, aside from the fact that the PAP's overall votes fell since the previous elections. The PAP led by Mr Mah Bow Tan still owned the SDA to retain Tampines, as was the case in many other GRCs... opposition leaders Mr Chiam and Mr Low retained their seats... yeah, I've always felt that Singaporeans aren't too supportive of major changes once they are used to a certain environment. Once someone has been voted in for two or three times, it's incredibly difficult for Singaporeans to get swayed and change their votes. Hence, the PAP, despite Mr Goh's strong support and them dangling the upgrading carrots in front of the people, were still unable to take the seats from Mr Low and Mr Chiam.

Heh anyway it was interesting to watch those supporters on TV... people chanting "PAP! PAP!", non-stop waving from the elected MPs, MPs with half their head covered under the garlands they're wearing... I wonder if I'll be one of those hysterical people at a rally or at the respective polling venues next Elections. Hmmm.

And with that, it's time for dinner and mugging for tomorrow's Econs >.<
