Promos!
This time it was harder than mid yrs. Econs essay was hard. I tot Trade Unions was a crappy part of Wage Differentials, but it came out in the essay. Bio? DNA, photosynthesis and respiration are horrible, and a lot came out for these three chaps. Chem? One essay gone, because no one can ever find out what compounds "B", "C", "D" and "E" are. Well, maybe not so for "E": Deduce the structural formula of E, and they tell us C5H10O2, so I put that as the answer lol. Maybe got 1 mark for being lame -_-"
And todae was Maths. It was deceptively easy at first, then it got progressively harder... Question 6 was a loci question in disguise, pretending to be a simple complex numbers question. Question 8... die-ded man. Forget how to differentiate inverse cosine functions, and whole 7 marks kena already.
But in the end, I'm just relieved that promos are over wahaha. After dismissal, we went Taka to have lunch. Crystal Jade! Haha wenyang was late and made everyone wait for him. Anyway, we ordered the "xiao long bao", and "la mian" lr. What else. Wenyang act smart, waste 10 bucks on a dumb fried rice, cost price tink 1 dollars onli. In the end, he experienced "diminishing returns to scale". Not onli was the rice horrible (he claims it is), he wasn't full after eating it. Hmmm... weird. Worst of all, we made him pay for the GST (and $1.50 towel), because he was late haha. He swore to never be late again =p
After that just walk around aimlessly lr. Went Kino, n got this BoA photobook. $71.90 wor haha. Hong Yi bought some comics that seem to be meant for teenage girls -____- Geraldine picked up this "250 Basic Driving Theory Test" book thingy and tested us. Lol I got 3 out of 4 right wor. Anyhow guess oso can. Whoever knew that at a lower gear, the engine brake is more effective? Haha but it seems more logical la so quite easy to guess, I tink.
