Ytd was the Community Service Project... Brought kids from Jamiyah Childrens' Home to Hay Dairies Goat Farm. Most of the kids were really cute but some were quite dao. Tok to them n they'll slp that kind. Anw when we reached dere we had an orientation tour. They showed us how they milked the goats, n explained a lot of stuff such as the different types of goats and all those stuff no one was interested to hear. I managed to catch some bits of info tho. For instance, each goat can produce 20 litres of milk a day. Omg. N those goats which are milked are all pregnant. Each goat will be used for 10 years, after which they will be sent to researchers to do research. That's pretty sad. Can u imagine living for 10 yrs, during which pple squueze u dry daily, and after that, they send u for cutting up?!
After the demonstration n talk, we proceeded to the barn to see the goats up close. There were young goats, "bachelor" goats, all kinds of goats la basically. It was v smelly at first but later get used to it le =p There was this goat that had this cheesy smile (i haf the pic in my fone). We tok some rubbish to it n it stood up on its hind legs and rested its two legs on the railing lol. Showoff. N there were two super huge goats with these beard-like things. They were so big until they look like bison lr. N there's this dumb goat which has a horn that is almost growing into the skull le lr. Dunno y the more the horn grow, the more crooked it becomes, until now almost like a handle on the goat's head. After the tour we had our games, n tea break or picnic or whatever u call sitting-down-at-the-tables-to-haf-snacks. It was quite pathetic honestly. The interactors din really wanna play i guess, n the kids started to run all over the place after a while. So we cancelled a game or two. After tt take photos that time oso quite chaotic. Somehow leading these interactors is v different frm laz time in scouts. Laz time juz say "fall in!" pple stand in one straight row already, n no one dare to tok. Now must coax them, shout a bit at them, and say the magic P word called "please" before they will move a few inches. Haiz. Tink the trip a bit screwed up ba. PS: Do u noe that if you drink goat's milk with cow's milk, 90% of the time u'll haf diarrhoea =p
